Frequently asked questions
11Where can I find the product specifications and user manuals?
On each product page, there is a resource section where you can download the corresponding specification documents, which include detailed installation dimensions and wiring methods of the product. For full user manuals, you can access the resource section on our website to download manuals matching different product models.
12Do I need wall studs or blocking to fasten the towel warmers to the wall, or can I use hollow wall anchors?
We recommend mounting the towel warmer onto wall studs. We supply a mounting template marking all mounting-point positions, which you can use to pre-plan stud locations during renovation. We also include special hollow-wall anchors for hollow-wall installations. While both options are provided, mounting onto wall studs delivers far greater stability. For hollow-wall applications, hollow-wall anchors allow valid installation, yet you must ensure the wall itself has adequate load-bearing capacity.
13What height from the floor should I mount my towel warmer at?
The mounting height generally depends on your actual bathroom conditions, such as whether there are obstructions above or below the installation wall. As a general principle, the towel warmer should be installed at a height that makes it easy and comfortable for users of different heights to hang and pick up towels. We do not recommend mounting it too low, as long towels may drag on the floor. Also, avoid installing the towel warmer in areas with direct water spray, such as positions directly facing the shower head inside the shower enclosure, to prevent potential safety risks.
14What are the cord-lead lengths for plug-in and rough-in towel warmer models?
The standard cord length for plug-in models is 1 meter. If you need a different cord length, please note your requirement when placing your order with our customer service; extended and custom cord lengths are available. For rough-in versions, the standard lead length is 2 meters. We also offer standard options of 5 m, 10 m and 15 m. You may select your required lead length at the time of order placement.
15Do the towel warmers have an internal thermostat/shut off or do they just keep getting hotter?
All of our branded towel warmers are equipped with built-in overheat protection to prevent overheating. You can adjust the final operating temperature by selecting different types of thermostats.
16Do your products comply with local plumbing codes?
Our products are electric-heated rather than water-heated units, so they are not subject to plumbing codes. There are no water pipes inside the towel warmers. You only need to arrange the corresponding electrical wiring and complete rough-in installation.
17Do I have to use the screws & plugs you supply?
Our products come with a complete set of installation accessories, including wall plugs, screws and all mounting bases. We recommend using our supplied hardware, which is sufficient for standard installation. Under special circumstances, you may choose alternative better-suited mounting solutions according to on-site conditions, or consult our service team for advice.
18Can I install the heated towel warmer above my bath?
Installation above the bathtub is allowed, but avoid heavy direct water spraying onto the unit during use.
19why add a controler ?
With our thermostat, you can set different operating temperatures. You may set a lower temperature in summer and a relatively higher temperature in winter for a more comfortable user experience. You can also set operating timers for better energy-saving performance. Of course, you can also set it to always-on mode for continuous heating, which is fully supported. You may choose different thermostats or towel warmer models based on your personal usage habits and application scenarios.
20Can I install my heated towel warmer myself?
We recommend hiring a local licensed electrician for installation. However, if you have some hands-on experience, you can install it by yourself by following our instructional videos and user manuals, especially for plug-in and rough-in versions. For direct hardwired installation, we strongly recommend that you hire a professional electrician. In addition, two people are suggested for mounting the main unit on-site during installation.
